Mughal Painting
ft.Shreyas lyer
Around the 10th century, Persian-influenced miniature paintings were famous across the Delhi Sultanate empire. When Humayun, the second Mughal emperor, returned from his exile,he brought along with him two eminent Persian artists - Mir Sayyid Ali and Abd al-Samad.On the emperor's instructions, these Persian artists created many famous paintings, including the 'Khamsa of Nizami.' These paintings deviated from the traditional style of Persian art andhence a new style of art form called 'Mughal Painting' was born.
The early techniques of Mughal painting, often involved a team of artists, one determining the composition, a second doing the actual colouring, and perhaps a specialist in portraiture working on individual faces. There is nothing more befitting than adapting this stylefor the dynamic captain of DC, Shreyas lyer.
